1. Introduction Welcome to Pro Shades & Blinds (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (proshadesandblinds.com) and the purchase of our products and services, including blinds, shades, shutters, drapes, and installation services. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services and Custom Products We specialize in custom window treatments. Our process typically involves an initial consultation, professional measurement, product selection, and installation.
Consultations: We offer on-site consultations to measure and help you select products.
Custom Nature: Please be aware that the majority of our products are custom-manufactured to the specific dimensions of your windows. Therefore, once an order is placed with the manufacturer, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
3. Quotes, Orders, and Payment
Estimates: Quotes provided during consultations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.
Deposits: A deposit (typically 50-75% of the total quote) is required to place your order and begin the manufacturing process.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation.
Financing: Promotional financing is available through our third-party partners. Use of financing is subject to the terms and approval of the financing provider.
4. Cancellations and Returns
Custom Orders: Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, we do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or aesthetic preference once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
Cancellations: Orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of signing the initial agreement. After this window, the deposit becomes non-refundable to cover materials and manufacturing costs.
5. Installation and Site Access
Scheduling: We will contact you to schedule installation once your products arrive.
Access: You agree to provide our installers with safe and reasonable access to the work area.
Preparation: Please ensure that window areas are clear of furniture, breakables, and existing window treatments (unless removal is part of our contract) prior to our arrival.
Safety: For the safety of our team and your household, please keep children and pets away from the work area during installation.
6. Warranties and Defects
Manufacturer Warranty: Most of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and mechanisms. We will facilitate warranty claims on your behalf.
Workmanship: Pro Shades & Blinds warrants our installation workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the installation date. This covers errors in mounting or assembly.
Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, or alterations made by the customer.
7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pro Shades & Blinds LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service at issue.
8. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kootenai County, Idaho.
